Appartamento Riva

Roma

2006 Total restoration with internal works and custom-made furnishings - 2007 Realization

The Victorian-style building where this apartment is housed, is located in Rome, Prati district. The apartment is set on the last floor of the building and consists in two levels and a roof garden. The integral restoration would include the direct union of the two levels, by redistributing the internal spaces, so that the stairs-kitchen furniture block could be used as vertical connection. In this way, the block becomes the compositional fulcrum of the entire project as well as the mail focal-perspective element. Made of iron and wood, the structure is covered with glossy lacquered panels and mocha-colored oak, with a white Corian worktop. Steps’ finishing in dove-gray cementitious resin, lighting with spotlights by Viabizzuno, railings in extra-clear crystal plates (Furniture by Ca.ce)
